Meet Vince

I'm Vince, a husband, dad to two boys, and a long-time Austin resident who has loved the Texas Hill Country since the '90s.

In 2022, my family bought a second home out in the Hill Country, hoping for a peaceful getaway and some rental income along the way. That one home turned into quite the learning experience. From choosing the right furnishings to managing vendors and communicating with guests, I quickly realized just how many moving parts go into making a short-term rental work.

But somewhere in the middle of all the checklists and late-night messages, I found something surprising. I actually enjoyed it.

What started as a side project became a deep dive into everything: pricing strategy, guest experience optimization, automation tools, local STR regulations, insurance, and smart design choices. I made my fair share of mistakes along the way, and I learned where the money is better spent and where it is not. That hands-on experience now helps me guide other homeowners through the same process with fewer headaches.
